Meet the members of the Tall Pines team who make it all possible.

Sandra, NHA | Administrator

I received my license for Nursing Home Administration in 1976. Since then, I have worked for 2 national nursing home companies as a Nursing Home Administrator. I have been the Administrator in Show Low for 8 years. My long tenure brings expertise, stability, and community investment to the staff and residents of the facility.

Bart, RN | Director of Nursing Services

I have lived in the White Mountain area for over 25 years. Helping people has always come naturally, which is why I believe nursing is where I belong. I am committed to restoring/maintaining the highest level of functioning and best quality of life possible for the Tall Pines’ residents.

Heather | Business Office Manager

I have been a part of the management team since 2008. I started as the Director of Medical Records and in June of 2009 I became the Business Office Manager. I take pleasure in working with our residents and their families. Some of my daily tasks include managing resident funds, billing, accounts receivable, working with various insurance companies, and assisting residents and their families in any way I can to meet their needs. I have a profound eagerness to expand my knowledge in long-term care and only hope to move forward.

Cathy | Marketing/Admissions Coordinator

I started in the medical field as an LVN. After 12 years, I moved to medical sales and spent 16 years working in that capacity. I came to the White Mountains 6 years ago and started working at Tall Pines just over a year ago. I love caring for people as much as I love talking about our facility. I feel we have a wonderful and caring staff and Administrator and that’s what took me out of sales and brought me to Tall Pines Care and Rehab.

Leona | Tribal Liaison

I began my service as Tribal Liaison for Tall Pines Care and Rehab in December of 2010. I serve as the liaison between Native American residents, their family members, and other community resources.

I am an enrolled member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe. I’m currently serving as the president of the McNary Elementary School Board. I have worked in the public service field in various roles such as nutrition educator, librarian director, and community events planner. Therefore, it is my privilege to be a member of the Tall Pines staff and to provide service as tribal liaison.

Alexandra | Social Service Director

In 2009, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Michael’s College in Vermont. I moved to Arizona soon after and began my search to find a position in which I could cultivate my skills. When I learned of the need for a Social Service Director at Tall Pines, I thought that it would be a great opportunity. I have been with the facility since 2010. I have a passion for what I do and I care deeply about the residents and their families.

Lynn | Activities Director

I’ve been in the medical field for 20 years. I’ve been at Tall Pines Care and Rehab for 10 of those years. I really enjoy working here, and interacting with residents and resident families. It brings me joy to see our residents happy and active. Our activities are an essential part of their quality of life.
